You sound like a good promoter of hate, acrimony and factionalism who’s incapable of using your talent to forge unity, understanding and progress. The meticulous manner you “suffocatingly” and crudely pick the holes in Mr. Trump’s speeches and reactions without any efforts at striking a balance betrays your base as a begrudged Democrat who’ll always “tooth pick” and dot the “Ts” in the President’s actions regardless of the positives.
Browsing through your pages of incitements, I didn’t observe the all important phrase, by Mr. Trump, that he was grossly misunderstood after the Charleston riot. You obviously too have refused to read the scores of grassroots comments, even from core blacks, that they saw nothing wrong in Mr. Trump’s reactions. Indeed, the misunderstood version of his personality, actions and speeches is what you’ve so passionately enumerated here for small minds and persons like yourself who’re yet to recover from the grand November,2016 election defeat.
Mr. Trump isn’t a politician; he’s undiplomatic and a rather instant direct shooter. I perceive him as a sincere person with realistic ideas who may be overwhelmed by the realities of subversion, oppositions, contradictions and obstacles. As a successful businessman he isn’t used to begging issues but directly confronting them. Generally, politicians diplomatically say one thing but mean the other. President Arango of Colombia, for instance, was known to be very vocal in condemning drug trafficking and barons in the country but was later found to be a grand-baron.
Most obviously, Mr. Trump understood himself and, was understood by objective minds to condemn the immediate acts of violence perpetuated by all the extremists-parties as at that time. All the restive groups went on rampage and this act was rightly, instantly, condemned by the President. There are no justifications for any disadvantaged party to go on rampage, wanton destruction and killings. No responsible President would have to wait for destruction and killings before condemning any potentially dangerous group. It’s a global fact that muslim extremists are labeled terrorists not necessarily because of their immediate carnage but in their history and potentials. What then would you make of Mr. Trump’s general silence before the violence?
In Nigeria, some Christian groups were condemned, by the ex-President, for embarking on retaliation over boko haram rampage. It didn’t imply the then Christian President was in support of muslim boko haram although he was so accused by some disgruntled elements. Curbing the excesses of any volatile group transcends executive verbal condemnation. It requires effective legislative and executive acts which are also the responsibilities of the so-called Trump castigating Republicans and Democrats. Your screaming Rants about the total breakdown of Trump’s administration is simply suggestive and ill-willed. Americans should be better guided on the basic rudiments of progress and one of such is unity after elections. The media must be better guided.
