Learning Never Stop

Hi, am Ogbemudia Rex, it’s day one of Andela’s Bootcamp and am so glad to be back at Bootcamp. This is my second Bootcamp at andela and I hope it’s going to be the last Bootcamp I will be attending at Andela, God willing.

My Most Recent Learning Experience

My most recent learning experience is kind of a long one and it all started at the last Andela Bootcamp I attended. The last Bootcamp I attended was like me stepping into a whole new world, almost everything I meant at Bootcamp was absolutely new to me and that was when my most recent challenging learning experience started, I needed to start learning.

What Happened Next?

As you might have guessed, I did not make it into Andela but I made it to week two and I left Bootcamp with a lot of experience and feedback, so my learning experience continued. I continued working on the Bootcamp project, I completed the backend which was a node and express application which uses Postgres as its database engine. Then I redesigned the UI and built it with react js. While working on the Bootcamp project after Bootcamp at Andela, I had to learn the tech I needed to complete the project. Though it was not easy, am glad that I continued working on the project.

My Final Note

Learning should be an integral part of our everyday life, after the whole learning process I recently passed through, I have come to know and love this quote by Josh Waitzkin which says “ that the key to pursuing excellence is to embrace an organic, long-term learning process, and not to live in a shell of static and safe mediocrity ”. Thanks for reading, bye.
