The biggest misconception of my college life… I thought that a high paying job would take away all of my worries. I thought that being able to buy anything was the only way to bring me happiness.

Now I define happiness as everyday experiences. I define it as being okay with where you are in the present. I define it as trying to become a better version of yourself everyday.

And I definitely agree that when we feel more in control, we feel more positivity and encouragement. We hold ourselves accountable for our outcomes, and we stop being victims of the world.
