One change for your “To-Do list” to make it more motivational
If you’re like any busy person, you probably have a pretty active “To-Do” list running constantly. So — How do you make that To-do list turn in to a Done list?

Simple!
Add a verb in front of every action you’re supposed to be taking.
Wrong To-Do structure:
For example, your To-Do list may look like this:
- Groceries
- Dry Cleaners
- Medium Article
- Hair appointment
Right To-Do structure:
When it should be looking like this:
- Get Groceries (IGA)
- Pick-up Dry Cleaning (Location)
- Publish Medium Article (To-Do Lists)
- Get Hair Did
Why?
Adding verbs helps trigger our resonating recognition on what action needs to be taken. With just a quick glance, you’re already preparing your mind to take that action and reduces the amount of cognitive load and strain you place on yourself by trying to remember just what Groceries means.
This is my #1 must do on any To-Do list I create.
What’s yours?
