Dear You:

I don’t know who you are or where you are or when you’ll get here but I just thought you should know that tonight I’m manifesting you with all my heart and mind’s strength. I have a feeling there’s a chance you could be closer than I think.

I see you clearly and I know you feel me and see me. I want to watch all our favorite movies and shows together every night, I want to hear your voice on the phone when you call me. I want to wake up with your body next to mine and to wake me up with a kiss.

Our relationship will be so good and healthy, nothing like my past ones. You are kind, gentle, sincere, self-aware, empathetic, compassionate, funny, honest, brilliant and immaculate — We trust and respect each other. We treat each other with kindness and respect. You’re a good person. You’re the most beautiful alive man I have ever met. We have a lot of similar interests, and we can talk for hours — We never shut up.

Things between us are so simple, light and fun! No drama, judgement or complications. You’re easygoing and lighthearted while holding your own opinions.

Our first date was so amazing, it went on longer than I thought it would! We laughed and talked endlessly for hours. We give each other the right amount of space; we’re not seeing each other every day or hardly ever.

You’re kind and understanding, we understand each other’s opinions and respect them even if we may not agree.

We’re best friends and like each other as people. Everything between us is good, fun and light — Hardly any drama at all. It’s a mature relationship. Our communication skills are excellent beyond words. We talk about everything, there are no secrets or games between us. Everything is so healthy and loving and things never get boring.

I want to sing my favorite songs next you when we’re driving to Orange County or Newport Beach and hold your hands while your fingers intertwine with mine. Everything between us has been the same and nothing has changed.

I want to do boring stuff with you like laundry and grocery shopping, as long as you help separate the colors and let me bag the groceries! I want to annoy you (but not to the point of driving you away).

I want to wipe the lipstick from your lips after we kiss, I want to feel your body against mine and your arms around me. We feel so comfortable around each other, and it feels like we’ve known each other for years.

I want to watch films with you and bad TV and 90s cartoons like Ed, Edd N Eddy. I want to quote film and TV quotes with you, develop inside jokes with you.

I want to meet your family and friends, I want to get to know them — Hopefully see them every now and then.

I want to cook food with you! I want to teach you how to make mac and cheese or pancakes — I want you to teach me your recipes.

I want to have a deep raw conversation with you on a couch and get really deep and personal. I want to know everything you want me to know.

We tell each other everything from silly anecdotes to serious conversations — Things aren’t moving too fast or too slow. People have told us that we look so good together! And it’s funny they also asked how long we’ve been together.

I want to go on adventures with you, get out of LA and explore everywhere with you. Putting on synthwave while we’re driving, and I can see you doing that cheeky smile while wearing your sunglasses. I want to dance with you on the beach at night.

You text me “Good morning” and “good night”, we take an interest in each other’s interests and lives. We send each other memes or other random cool stuff — We also write each other letters and notes like we’re in high school again.

I love how we share the same views — I like how you don’t stay friends with your exes or obsessively talk about a female friend you have.

I want to watch the sun set with you while the sky turns a burnt passionate orange with a soft pink background and share that kiss with you, listen to synthwave in your car. Make out like teenagers in your car. I want to get on top of you and make out with you in the driver’s seat.

You make me laugh and smile when I don’t want to, we support each other through everything and anything. We are always there for each other and have each other’s backs.

If and when you get upset with me, you speak to me with decency and treat me like a person. You don’t use hostility or aggression in your tone, and you don’t hold grudges.

I love resting my head on your shoulder and feeling you so close to me; we make each other feel so good about ourselves. We have a deep emotional and physical connection, the sex is so amazing and the first night was so amazing.

I hope one day you will be here and if you are here and I’m reading this to you in the future,

I’m glad you’re here and we’re so lucky to have found each other.
