Blog Entry One
Hello people reading this today, or tomorrow, or even yesterday. Maybe even a few years ahead. But that doesn’t matter, your reading this and that’s all that matters right now. But who would want to read about some 13 year olds life? Well… A few reasons: I travel everywhere (I’ve circled around the world and I’m headed to Hawaii next week for two weeks.), I have strange, strange siblings that make the best stories, I am part of many fandoms, and who doesn’t like good, old fandoms? I don’t want to go on and on and on telling you why you should read my blog because then you wouldn’t have anything to read in my blog. So without further ado, here is my first blog entry! So in this blog I’m gonna be talking about things that have happened in the past, and sum up my life all the way to what is happening today. Let’s start one year ago exactly. One year ago my parents broke some major news to me. They called me into the kitchen while they were eating. I came walking in and they were smiling ear to ear. I smiled awkwardly at them, because they don’t usually smile like that. Then came the news. They told me that we were moving to India. My jaw literally dropped to the floor. I had to start packing immediately becuase we were moving in two weeks. A few weeks later we arrived at our tiny apartment. Let me give you a small visualization. When you first walked in, the smell of mildew and something like rotten bananas slapped you in the face. To your left you had the smallest “kitchen” in the world, if you could even call it a kitchen. There was a mount for a fridge without a fridge on it. There was no stove, and an empty gas cylinder. All there was was a broken sink and a counter with empty space underneath with ants swarming around. The floor was a disgusting grey tile in every room. To your right there was a slightly larger living room. There was no couch. The only things in there were a tiny coffee table that had a crack in the middle and an empty cabinet that had about 50 million keys in it. The cabinet also smelled of something dead. Then to the right of the living room was a sink, just a sink. Past that sink there was a door and when you opened the door there was a bathroom. The bathroom consisted of a toilet that was super dirty, a hose to wash your butt off when your done doing your business. Then there was a “shower”. Really it was just a facet a few feet up the wall that shot freezing cold water on you. There was nothing to put a curtain around it so you were just standing there on the same ground as every other room in the house with a hole in the floor for the water to flow into. It was gross. Then there was another sink with a crooked mirror hanging there that was the size of your hand. Now back to the random sink. Across from that sink there was a small bedroom. It had two windows in it and a crappy fan. The bed stank to high heaven, but it looked comfy. Not at all. It was hard af and felt just about as comfortable as it you had sat on a rock with spikes on it that had killed a moose not too long ago. There were no sheets, pillows or anything. Then back to the living room and kitchen. Across from the front door, there was another bedroom that was an exact replica of the other. A crusty bedroom that was more a torture chamber than a comfortable space of relaxation. Across from where the couch should have been was a tiny patio about three feet wide and 2 feet across. All you could see from there were your neighbors and a small glimpse of the dirty river. It was disgusting. Fast-forward a week, and we had somewhat moved in. We now had a small fridge, a stove, a new sink for the kitchen, a washing machine, a couch and makeshift sheets. We had nowhere to keep our clothes or stuff so we kept everything in our suitcases. Situations weren’t that good. We had gotten a whole lot of rain, and school was starting in a week. We couldn’t find any school supplies on our side of the river. One day we decided to go across the river. It was a small town completely devoted to “shopping”. It was smelly, dirty, and packed with people. There were monkeys stealing, it was super hot and humid and we were there all day. We made the wise decision of getting some juice from a cart. The glasses weren’t washed after use and they were caked with dirt. As you can tell, we were sick the next day. Then the flood started. The flood lasted for two weeks. Fast forward another week. My dad couldn’t stay with us in India, he had to go back to America to work. The family was sad and heartbroken. He decided we were all going back, but a week after him. This meant I still had to go to school for one day. That one school day sucked. Alot of racism and stuff, so… Ya. Fast forward to when we left. First we flew to Germany. That was cool, and the beds felt like heaven. Then from Germany, we went to London. While we were there, we went to Platform 9 and 3/4, it was amazing. Then we flew all the way back home. God were we happy to be back. The house was awesome compared to India. So that was last summer. Then school started again, but I started a month late due to the flood (and the unnecessary traveling heh.) Blah blah blah, school, shtuff, ya. Fast forward again to sometime around January, 2K16. I had a few friends that were weird as possible. And by this time I had developed a fancy in a person. We became friends and pretty soon me and him were best friends. Fast forward, blah blah blah, we talked, blah blah blah, end of the year blah blah blah, there was a carnival. So, this carnival was so fun. I hadn’t planned to go, but then I volunteered to get free tickets. I convinced this boy to volunteer with me. I ended up hanging out with him the whole time. He gave me cotton candy, we raced up the rock wall, we played with some bubbles together, it was fun. Blah blah blah, he told my BFF that he liked me then his phone broke, school ended, ya. So here we are. Present day, and now things are getting pretty boring.
I think I’m going to end this blog post here. Hope you enjoyed my stupid rant.
