Song #3: Party All Day

Party All Day is a nonchalant, carefree sounding song with scattered arpeggiators and ignorant vocals. Ken Carson sounds almost like he’s smiling while recording the vocals for this song. It is a bright, low-key sound, and has very little complexity involved in the mix.

The song is led by a randomized arpeggiator and is accompanied by a whistling lead that carries the joyous tone. The lyrics are almost laughably ignorant and boring, but this actually contributes to the carefree vibe of the song.

I don’t love this song, and don’t really enjoy the lyrics being repeated over and over. There isn’t much depth to this track, which causes it to feel somewhat boring. While I don’t hate it, in comparison to the other songs on the album this track is pretty underwhelming.

Ken Carson does bring a certain level of talent to the table, but does not display it through this track. This is more of a dance/club focused song, and doesn’t hold any musical artistry.
