Bad recruiters are a bliss really! They expose the company they work for better than anything else. Interviewing is a tiring process for both parties, so when they give you a hint on “we are so bad, we have to ask for a Word resume”, it is really a good thing. Saves time and effort.

Part of why I’ve landed in Materialize is that their recruiter didn’t even asked me for a resume. She found my LinkedIn page and since there were all she had to know to start interviewing, there was simply no room for resume Word or any other kind.
