Cuboids are easy! In Materialise we do spatial optimization with arbitrary models for 3D printing. That’s the real pain. Some parts may get interlocked or completely trapped one inside other. And we have to do this in a reasonable amount of time too.

On the other hand, you probably get better plans with this limitations. And it is quite reasonable for logistics.
