[Image: an old computer] All of the core online learning content for this course is here on Medium. Freeimages.com licence.
Online (required for PGCert): Throughout, access/contribute/respond to OKHE content (use the tag: OKHE).

The online aspect of this module is hosted in this Medium publication. All learning materials and contributions can be found here.

An additional ‘Prepare and Reflect’ tool has been developed for PGCert participants. We may make this available openly in future. This tool, plus some information only relevant to PGCert participants, is in Blackboard.

PGCert only: Please ensure you are familiar with the additional materials in EDUC66092 in Blackboard.

How to participate (openly)

If you are a student being assessed, you are required to participate through your assessed work (read more). Below is a quick guide to this.

  1. Create a Medium account and decide how you are going to use it. This will help you to explore ideas around online identity, licensing, open sharing of ideas/practice. It’s a big topic and very relevant to this unit, so we’ve created a full post on it here.
  2. Contribute to OKHE and join the discussion. An important aspect of this unit is that the materials are mostly written by participants. This, again, is a practical opportunity for you to explore some more ideas around openness and collaboration. See our full post on it here.
  3. Finally, in and out of the classroom, in person and online, we would like you to share what you are learning, your opinions and reflections; and engage in the conversations taking place: ask questions and respond to other participants. Other than in OKHE1 and OKHE2, you will not be assessed on the above. We encourage open discussion, and you are not expected to talk/write at length or in an academic style.
