A place we can call home

Let hands and hearts intertwined

To agree on a place we can call home

A place not too hot or too cold

Yet garnered with rubbish sentiments

And beautiful memories, just like us.

Let’s romantically and incessantly argue

About Monday pizza and Friday Chinese

I will relearn the concept of toilet’s seat

And grudgingly agree on the wallpaper’s colours

Just to perfect the art of home making.

The heating must not be high like the bills

And my favourite seating spot unperturbed

The doorbell’s rings in tune with our rhythm

And our home filled like our hearts

Resonating emotions and tiny details.
