My Journey as a UI/UX designer.

My name is Faruq Omiteru. I just began my journey as UI/UX designer.

I am a tech enthusiastic, I realized that one way to be a tech guy is through UI/UX design.

While growing up, I love art and design. I also attended some art and design exhibitions. This is where the motivation to become a UI/UX designer came from.

During the pandemic, I took some personal development courses but couldn’t do anything relating to UI/UX course.

Becoming a UI/UX designer was added to my goals to start with. After, I made researches about how to start the journey, I realized that self taught would be a long process for me.

I stumbled onto Trevotech academy through ads.

I decided to check the website out. I like the courses they listed. Since UI/UX is also part of the courses listed and affordable, I decided to join Trevoctech academy.

Our facilitator, whom is Ayinde Abimbola an experienced UI/UX designer has been a wonderful tutor to the new joiners in Trevotech.

She shared her experience and let us all know that we all are embarking on a career we will never regret.

she has really helped in simplifying the basic aspect of the course. She communicated well and ensuring the that we all are focusing in the class. she has made the career more interesting to me with her good tutoring skill.

I am open to be a mentee to other good UI/UX designer mentors out there. Also willing to join the the UI/UX designer community for collaboration and enlightenment.
