31 days of ceaseless flow…
What I have learnt so far.
· The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. START SOMETHING!
· The quality of information you expose yourself to goes a long way in influencing the outcomes of your life: Just when I thought I had achieved a great feat by writing and publishing uninterrupted for ten days. I read about Seth Godin who has published an article every day for over 10 years now. About the same time, a friend started the August challenge, he challenged himself to publish every day in August. What I read about Seth Godin and my friend’s decision did more than what a nitro boost will do to a racing car. I was pumped up.
SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE RIGHT FRIENDS AND THE RIGHT MATERIALS; BOOKS AND AUDIO VISUALS
· You are more than this. You never know how much you have and how much you are capable of doing until you start giving/acting. Sometimes even you do not have a correct estimation of yourself. I have received some mails and awesome feedbacks. Reading through some of my write-ups, I feel surprised at how impactful and beautifully written some of them are.
YOU ARE MORE THAN THIS, DON’T WAIT FOR A PERFECT TIME, PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE.
· It is in losing ourselves in the service of others that we find ourselves: If you feel you have trouble discovering purpose or finding what you are passionate about, you should learn to serve the world with whatever you have. What seems little and immaterial to you is a big deal to someone else. SERVE THE WORLD WITH YOUR GIFT.
· Don’t stop when you are tired. In one of my articles I wrote about the naval seal belief that most times when you feel you are done, you are only 40 percent done. I felt really tired a few times. I felt clueless and barren for the right words or on themes to write about on so many days. But I chose to fight in those moments. ANYONE CAN DO ANYTHING WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE, ONLY CHAMPIONS STAY THROUGH TO THE COURSE INDEPENDENT OF HOW THEY FEEL.
I published for 31 days, is that a big deal? To me, YEEEEESSSSSS. I built character and confidence, I made new friends, I inspired my readers to give life their best shot, I got better and happier, I discovered more about myself,
And I am someone is asking - Did you make more money?
Well , that is left for my bank account to answer.
I am about to decide what challenge to take on for the next 31 days. Will I continue writing? Will I decide to read 100 pages per day? Will I decide to do an audio or video podcast? Or Exercise every day for the next 31 days…
Sighs…I really don’t know yet, but I will do something consistently for the next 31 days.
