Paralympian Ellie Simmonds is 6/1 to win this year’s Strictly Come Dancing after being announced for the series earlier this week.
Bookmakers instantly made Simmonds the second favourite in the betting market after the five-time Paralympic champion was announced.
Ladbrokes are the only bookmaker currently giving odds for the series as the full line up has not yet been announced.
Will Mellor remains 8/1 to win the show with his odds staying the same since he was the first celebrity announced this year.
Kym Marsh was also announced on the same day and she is still 10/1 to win.

Kiss FM DJ Tyler West is the favourite to win this year’s Strictly Come Dancing at 5/1.
Bookies give West the best chance of winning the series and that will likely stay the same up until the first week.
There are still celebrities left to be announced though over the next few days, with comedian Ellie Taylor the latest addition today.
Taylor, 38, has previously used Strictly in a comedic routine focusing on the affairs that some of the previous contestants have had.

Kaye Adams was instantly added as the outsider in the betting odds when she was announced to be on this year’s Strictly.
Adams follows in the footsteps of fellow Loose Woman Judi Love, who appeared on last year’s edition of the famous show.
Announcing that she was on the show earlier this week, Adams said, “I can’t dance at all, I’ve got two left feet. I’m absolutely terrified. It will be a journey”.
Bookies give Adams just a 2.9% chance of winning this year’s series.
