About Compliance

  • Will there be any trade recording system for taxes ?

Yes you will be able to export your transaction history

  • Do you have the ICO visa from the AMF ?

The AMF visa does not apply to our ICO since it’s not enforced yet. However we are very supportive of this initiative and will systematically apply for it for the upcoming ICOs we will organize. Ultimately we want to launch and list security tokens and expect AMF to issue appropriate directives.

  • Is French government eager on proceeding with positive regulations for ICO ?

Yes there is a real interest and positive response from the French government. The PACTE law is promising for blockchain and crypto environment.

  • Will this exchange allow users to trade without kyc ?

You will be able to start trading with your email at the beginning. To upgrade your level, you will have to do KYC

  • If I dont want to upgrade am i free to trade and withdraw ?

You will be able to trade and withdraw. Limits will be published at the opening of the platform

About the BCIO Token

  • How did you determine the number of coins to be sold ?

Originally it was 200M and was subsequently decreased to 100M. Considering the hardcap of 20M €, it enables to have a reference price that is not too low nor too high

  • After we purchase the BCIO tokens when can we start to trade them ?

Blockchain.io crypto-exchange will be launch in november following the ICO. BCIO tokens will then be distributed directly on your wallet in december, and you will be able to start trading

  • What mechanism are you putting in place to list good project to the exchange ?

Token projects will be preselected by Blockchain.io staff. Tokens eligible for listing will be then submitted to a community vote. Last, token selected by the community vote will pass an audit through the following criteria: Legal compliance of the project, team background and experience, company history, market potential, product quality, technology, etc.

  • How many new tokens per month you will add ?

We will have token listing sessions every 1 to 3 months. Up to 5 tokens will be listed after each session

  • Related to this community vote, Will BCIO token be used for new token listing voting ? And also will there be reward for voting ?

Yes, the more BCIO you hold, the more influence you have on the vote. Also, airdrop and bounties on new listing are distributed to token holders at pro rata of their BCIO holdings

About the Blockchain.io Exchange

  • Can you explain how the DEX part work ?

The user simply ticks the optin box “decentralized settlement”. Then he/she will be prompted to enter his/her own public key

  • Will you use 0x or WETH protocol ?

Not at first: we will first roll out our own crypto protocol for trustless trading. However, if the market demands it, we will consider other protocols

  • On the last AMA someone said that the decentralized settelement will be settle in the end of the day can you develop a bit more ?

The duration of the escrow will be fine tuned when we roll out the feature. Most likely, it’s going to be somewhere between 1 and 2 days.

  • Have you tested and audited your decentralized settlement protocol ?

The feature is under test for Script-language currencies (BTC, LTC, etc). ETH EVM is next. Expect staggered delivery of the feature, ultimately extending to all cryptos

  • Can you tell me more about the escrow system ?

The decentralized settlement protocol is using cross-chain atomic swap contracts, building on early work from 2012 up until more recently with the Tumblebit protocol. We cannot say more at this point

  • Will I be able to track my txs in the escrow ?

Yes, escrow tx and cash out tx are on chain and can be seen with any explorer. Trades inbetween are off chain.

  • How will Atomic Swaps work without Raiden ?

We are currently working on a new technology comparable to Tumblebit. This is on our roadmap to be deployed in 2019.

  • What made you want to build your own protocol for DEX implementation instead of using the already existing one ?

Existing protocols (Oxt, Lightning, etc) had limitations (security, performance, UX, etc) that we think can be overcome with our implementation.

  • What order types would be available on Bcio exchange ?

You will have Limit and Market orders available. Later, we will introduce other options.Such as take profit, stop loss, trail stop, self cancelling orders, etc

  • Will you have a mobile app ?

We will launch a specific mobile app later. Anyway, the trading UI will be responsive and could be used in a mobile.

  • Will there be a minimum and maximum limit order on the exchange ?

We will have a minimum on limit orders. It will be fine tuned to avoid spam orders

  • How will you prevent market maker to do price manipulation ?

Fraud and anomaly detection algorithms are on the roadmap. We might even discuss with AMF and SEC about this topic.

  • Can you give us more information about the lending platform ?

Blockchain.io will operate proprietary lending on personal inventory and peer-to-peer lending. For peer-to-peer we will open dedicated order books for users to bid and asks on loans (qty & daily interest rates). Peer to peer loans will be used to execute margin trading. These features will be unrolled in the second semester of 2019.

  • Are there any plans for launching MVP for community ?

We are going to launch a beta release that will be based on testnet (you could use faucet coins to try it). It will be available in the next weeks.

  • Will you add trading view chart to do TA or will you provide your own tools ?

Advanced trading interface will integrate TradingView. A lot of technical tools will be available

About the Exchange Market

  • Are Blockchain.io and Paymium open to asian market ?

Blockchain.io will be open to users globally. Paymium.com will introduce Japanese Yen in the coming months to offer a FIAT gateway to Asian users. All Paymium users will have a facilitated access to Blockchain.io (free BTC transfers ultimately)

  • Who are your top 3 direct competitors from your perspective ?

Our main competitors are Coinbase for Paymium and Binance for Blockchain.io. We are very ambitious and want to break into top 10 exchanges

  • How will you bring liquidity ?

We are going to in-take market makers to bootstrap liquidity on the platform

  • Will there be a minimum and maximum limit order on the exchange ?

We will have a minimum on limit orders. It will be fine tuned to avoid spam orders

  • Will you sell access to the centralized order book to other DEX in the future ?

It is something we are discussing right now, we definitely might consider it.

  • Can you please name any big investor ?

We have secured significant fundings in the private sale from Funds, Family Offices and Crypto Whales. We are still in negotiation with several substantial investors. We will announce more soon

  • Will your trading fees be cheaper than Binance?

Standard fees will be 0.1% for maker/taker. BCIO token longs will be 0%. Also, depending on your BCIO holdings you can get up to 100% discount on fees.

  • What special plans do you have for underdeveloped countries like in Africa as to the effect and usage ?

Blockchain.io will be available globally and so to our fellow African community. Platform will be available in multiple languages including french, which is a lot spoken in Africa.

  • How do you plan to open Paymium to a global client base ?

We’ll pick a european bank much more crypto-friendly and open a large base of Fiat/BTC pairs.

Others

  • Will there be any more chances to join the whitelist ?

Yes, we’ll resdistribute the whitelist spots of people who didn’t create their account on our platform in the coming days. For now you can join the wait list here https://blockchain.io/token-sale

  • Will your ICO include a roadshow? Where can I find your roadshow schedule?

Since February, we went to numerous events and conference. From Dallas, San Francisco, New-York to Amsterdam, Vilnius, Zurich, London… We even wen twice to Asia with Seoul, Tokyo and Singapore. Next event is in London on October 4th

  • Are any events planned in France ?

We’ll attend France Digitale event in paris next tuesday, on September 25th. We also attend the monthly cryptomondays sessions in paris ?

  • What are your thoughts on Trade-driven Mining ?

Trade driven mining would make our token a security. We are very focused on compliance to attract institutional investors on the ecosystem. As such we will stay away from this practice as long as we do not have the European MTF license. We will apply for this license after our ICO. Once granted we will be able to list security tokens and BCIO could become a security.

The End.
