Floating through the void & trying to find some happiness.
It’s black and deep, my chest is somber and heavy.
Everything is eventually going to pass. Some moments coagulate in our blood, forming clots that make our hearts ache and weep.
I am here, and I am not here. The sadness is real, the happiness is fleeting.
Each day was a gift. Comets died just out of reach, their blue flames extinguished before I could blink.
The planets revolved overhead, while the sea was restless on my side.
