SMC Capital organized Tokenize It! London, an exclusive event hosted by everiToken and crypto exchange KuCoin on Friday, June 28th. Over 100 blockchain enthusiasts came to watch key industry players discuss some of the hottest market trends. It was our second Tokenize it! event this year, with the previous conference taking place in NYC in February.
everiToken CEO Brady Luo started the event off with a keynote presentation, in which he discussed everiToken’s latest achievements, including tokenization of volunteer data of over 71 million volunteers for Zhiyuan Hui, the world’s largest volunteering platform, and conducting the issuance for a $500MM USD stablecoin in Malaysia. Brady also mentioned that 20 new asset-backed stablecoins are set to be issued on everiToken’s public chain.
Brady’s keynote was followed by an exciting panel discussion titled “Investing in Blockchain: IEO vs STO vs Equity.” Panelists included Arnie Hill, Partner at Obsidian Capital; Andrew Adcock, CEO at Crowd of Angels; Brady Luo, CEO of everiToken; and Alex Fazel, Head of Communications at Swissborg and was moderated by SMC Capital Partner Mik Mironov.
Mik Mironov, who is also a KuCoin ambassador, gave a keynote presentation at the event, in which he announced that KuCoin is expanding to the London market. KuCoin boasts a global network of over 5 million registered users and 320 million dollars peak 24-hour trading volume. SMC Capital is one of KuCoin’s listing partners, helping quality blockchain projects get their tokens listed on one of the world’s best exchanges for altcoin liquidity.
James Bowater, the journalist behind City AM’s Crypto Insider, moderated a fireside chat between everiToken CEO Brady Luo and Soups Ranjan, the Head of Fincrime Risks for Revolut. Revolut is currently valued at about $2.7 billion, making it the first European digital bank unicorn. The fireside chat focused on the future of payments and how crypto will be shaking things up in that market.
Tokenize It! London brought together some of the leading players in London’s blockchain space, including investment funds, cryptocurrency exchanges, and blockchain startups.
