My First Open Source Adventure
Anthony Ng

Thanks for the detailed and fair story. Was wondering if you had experience in this field before? After all, you did not have to learn javascript from scratch? I felt similar when I started to participate in open source. But I think for the beginners it’s good to participate in small projects. They are easier to understand and mountaineers ready to pay you more attention. You might also practice the skills of working with git, github and similar tools. And of course you will feel that your contribution more significant than in large projects
