This is hardly the first step in the path. The path for single payer health care that Hillary stood alone on a quarter of a century ago has been filled with GOP boulders, and what we have finally gotten is only a glimpse of part of her proposal, but she has never given up. Hillary is way beyond first steps. Look at all she has done for women’s rights around the world and children’s health care and education and all the work she has done for equal rights for all. While it is true that Bernie once started on the civil rights path, he has wandered so far off (until this election year) that most people of color are hearing of him for the first time. If you are willing to look, you will see, not only paths, but entire systems of transportation she has built toward her goals for all of us.
