If you’ve been on the internet for more than a minute or two, chances are you’ve come across at least one YouTube video.
YouTube, if you’ve just joined or don’t have an account, usually serves you with general content; content that a large majority of the population likes.
As you can see above, we have cute babies, cars, money, sports, MrBeast, Lo-Fi beats, and romance.
But venture a little further in and you’ll find the darker, more mysterious side of YouTube.
This is where you’ll find the scary videos. The videos that make you want to call your mum and switch on the lights. The videos that make you think: why on Earth would anyone make this?
You can go searching for this illusive YouTube pit or, like I did when I was younger, stumble across it. From there, I followed creators like Nexpo, Rob Gavagan (formerly Rob Dyke), BlameitonJorge, and ScareTheatre.
