A rising star in the world of fast-pitch softball, Moore committed to play the sport at Clemson University September of her junior year and planned to use her time until college to further hone her skills. These plans were unfortunately upended a month later, however, when Moore tore her ACL and meniscus during a complicated play at third base, ultimately requiring an invasive surgery that left her with the scar that can be seen on her left knee. Now a rising senior, Moore is slowly beginning to reaccustom herself to the game, hoping her nine months of recovery will not prevent her from excelling at what she loves most.
