Welcome!

As you might begin to see, in this blog we’re doing things a whole lot different.

For the past few months, we’ve been hard at work bringing to fruition our plans for a scalable, global ticketing infrastructure. Today is not only the revealing moment, it’s also the release for what we’ve dubbed the ‘Digital Twin update’.

So what’s on the agenda? Well instead of the usual wrap-up style update of the latest news, we’d like to take you by the hand on a step-by-step walkthrough of everything we’ve been busy working on over the last few months. …

Transparency is the ticket to success.

From the inside out

As physical events return, European football fans are screaming their lungs out and partygoers recalibrate their post-lockdown social skills.

For GET, there are countless developments going on both in front and behind the scenes; we are hard at work scaling operational efforts to match our ambitions and present opportunities.

In this blog we’ll share some of the latest examples along these lines, specifically linked to the transparent operations of the protocol. Being a cornerstone of our mission, this is something we hold in high regard and will continue to improve as we progress.

That said — dive in.

We’re proud to announce today that our NFT Ticket Explorer has launched! After a long time in the making with plenty of buzz and excitement about the possibilities, its initial version is finally released for all to see.

What Is GET Protocol’s NFT Ticket Explorer?

The NFT Ticket Explorer gives a look under the hood at all ticketing activity happening through GET Protocol. This importantly provides a transparent view of ticketing operations occurring whilst also showcasing the magnitude of tickets being processed through the protocol.

GET Protocol has issued over 700,000 on-chain smart tickets since 2016, all for real-world events and bought by non-crypto savvy users. …

GET Protocol is entering a new chapter. With this next step we’re preparing for the world stage by focusing on three core values:

  • Maturity
  • Scalability
  • Transparency

These values are critical to achieving our mission of becoming the open data standard for ticketing. The scalability of the protocol in all its facets ensures that business operations are not bottlenecked and our exponential growth can keep up its pace.

At the same time we are more than ever aiming for increased automated transparency in how the protocol operates, from the tech side to the business to the token. …

Welcome back. There’s a lot that could be said about the past month, but the bottom line is that these have been some of the most exciting weeks in GET history, and things are only getting started.

As will be noted in this blog, there is a lot of attention flowing into our use case and our specific project. Cool things are happening and even cooler things are on the way.

Let’s get to it.

A recent discovery was made in the Democratic Republic of the Congo that drew the attention of anyone in the vicinity: a hill was found to contain 98% gold in its soil. As can be expected after such a find, anyone within traveling distance with a shovel or fingernails has feverishly been digging away at the mountain, trying to extract its riches.

It’s not too difficult to draw a comparison between this mountain and the recent NFT hype.

If you…
