Ukraine launched an electronic auction using blockchain technology

The beginning of the autumn was marked by the official launch of the auction in electronic format using modern blockchain technology. In Kiev on September 6, there was a presentation of the system of sales of confiscated property from “SETAM” — a major auction of the country.

The official holding of the auction and the first bidding took place with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine — Sergei Petukhov, as well as the general director of the DP “SETAM” — Victor Vishnev. At the presentation were also present the head of the State Agency of Electronic Governance of Ukraine — Oleksandr Ryzhenko, the president of the “Eastern Europe Foundation” — Viktor Lyakh, and the CEO of “BitFury” company — Valery Vavilov.

Documents on cooperation on the integration of blockchain technology into the sale of confiscated property “SETAM” and directly to the base registries were signed on June 8. The legal registration of initiatives before their practical implementation took only 3 months.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of Ukraine — Vladimir Groisman made a statement that the launch of this project will allow the country to become a true leader in the field of innovation.
