As the summer fades away, leaving our skin worn out from sunburn, the arrival of winter presents us with a fresh set of challenges. The hot, dry air emanating from fireplaces or heating systems poses a true test for our skin and senses. Amidst the hustle and bustle of holidays, parties, and work schedules, it’s crucial to carve out time for self-care during this season. Prioritizing self-care becomes paramount, allowing us to rejuvenate and replenish our skin while finding moments of tranquility amidst the winter chaos.

As the days grow shorter and the nights stretch longer, even avid skiers find themselves spending more time indoors. The allure of cozy environments and indoor activities becomes irresistible during this season.

Starting with the food I feed to my furbabies and the activities I choose. You always talk to some walking your dog. It can truly change one’s life.

Several different studies show that a lack of sleep can be attributed with diseases as the brain needs to have at least 7–8 hours of active sleep to detox. Here the link to one the most interesting podcasts I have ever listened to.

I have learned that trying something new can prevent brain shrinkage which causes dementia and other mental illnesses. As I have this huge trampoline available this winter, every morning when I let my dog out the first thing I do,in the cold, barefoot — I just jump on it and enjoy the view of the Rocky Mountains.

Going to the thrift store and buying a book that you would usually not choose — try it and support sustainability and recycling. Doing something good for any other person or creature but you, might give you a sense of purpose.
