If your MD and/or insurance will not grant tests you think you need you can go to PrivateMD Labs, they are a direct to public lab testing site. You pick the tests you want, pay online and they send you the slip you need to go to your local LabCorp to have the tests done. Results are sent directly to you. Great service. I am a thyroid patient and insurance only grants tests once a year but I keep a closer check on my result. I am also a Stage IV Colon Cancer patient.
