Love as human right.
(On Saudi Arabia threatening the United Nations over human rights violations)
In Finland, the internet is now a human right.
In Switzerland, a basic salary for everyone almost became a human right.
In Yemen, Saudi Arabia is making torture for children a human right.
In Nigeria, even life ain’t no human right....
Maybe we should choose a day to align our values, around the world.
Scrap every other declaration of human rights. They are all too relative.
Then, we should all agree to make Love a human right.
And declare loneliness a war crime, or a sacred abomination.
Or we could make it extinct as surely as we’ve made broad-billed parrots in Africa extinct.
