Let’s talk about teenagers and SEX

Time to have the discussion with our teenagers… Talk to the GIRLS and the BOYS too…

“I would rather teach my teenage daughter about sex and contraceptives than allow one stupid boy tell her he can put his penis in her vagina but won’t move.

I won’t deceive myself that her going to church will insulate her from surging teenage hormones. I will teach to her protect herself. She will know how to deal with her emotions.

If you have a teenage daughter and you are still pretending that she’s a virgin without getting to know who she’s crushing on or what she knows about sex, I pity you.

Teach your daughters about sex. Explain to them why they have to abstain from pre marital sex. Teach them how to protect themselves. Don’t think beating will stop them from exploring if they want to.

Show interest in their relationships. Teenagers talk and love to explore. Don’t wish that away. Teach them about sex. Guide them on what to expect regarding boy girl relationships. That’s why you are a parent.

This is not the time for passive parenting. Don’t tell her that when a boy touches her, she will get pregnant. That’s not sex education. You are setting your child up for a rude awakening.” — Kate Halim

Let’s talk about Safe Sex! Engage our younger ones and help them make informed decisions.

Many times they want to experience so please let’s guide them appropriately.
