Goal-Setting vs. Living in the Now

Depending you define “living in the now” as going with the flow or being present. It is important to set goals but future-pacing and speculating on the events that haven’t happened yet is not healthy. My latest article is exactly about it.
Rope-walking is a great metaphor (not that I’ve ever done it so please correct me if I’m wrong): the goal is to get to the other end but you must be very focused and aware of your surrounding as well as yourself in it (balance, inner-calm, etc.). And the latter is exactly being in the Now :)
