“Typically, we have a window of about three hours where we’re really, really focused. We’re able to have some strong contributions in terms of planning, in terms of thinking, in terms of speaking well.”
6 Things You Need to Recover From Every Day
Benjamin P. Hardy

This is so true. I feel the same with my work. I’m really productive and can deliver the most value during only maybe 3–4 hours a day. The rest is just going through the motions or passing time. Or worse — forcing myself into tasks and struggling with them.

Unfortunately our reality is such that we are still payed on time basis.

Is there any advice on how to turn this around. And also maybe there are some techniques on how to “detach” from work?
