While reading, I felt every word and all I could picture was current life situations that I have been dealing with myself lately. A lot of what you wrote really hit home for me. It got me thinking about what’s important and that’s to be true to ourselves. We can often get so caught up with trying to please people and gain their acceptance that we neglect or disregard ourselves in the process.

I’m glad I stumbled upon your article on Facebook — it was a good read, one that gave me great insight and perspective during a time when things have been tough. It’s almost like I needed to hear the words.
