You do make a very convincing point. I work as a Junior UI designer at an agency. So mostly when i’m given the requirements the first thing I do is search on dribbble how other designers have went about solving that particular problem, since there is no point in reinventing the wheel. So when I see this overly artistic shots that cannot be practically developed into UI it’s totally frustrating. I find the appeal of designing something pretty to get a few likes and wows, but it would be far more rewarding to community if some meaningful actual shots of work were to be posted.
