Minecraft. The sandbox game released all the way back in 2009 by Marcus Persson (Notch) that was initially known as “Cave Game”. If you’re unfamiliar with Minecraft, the game is an open world sandbox available on most platforms such as PC, Console, and Mobile. Within the game of Minecraft, there exist many ways players can enjoy themselves including survival, creative, and finally, online servers. In this blog series, we will be covering how to create your own personalized Minecraft server.

Minecraft Servers
Minecraft servers are online servers hosted on a machine in which players can join and interact with each other. Servers are a great way to build an active community, build strong connections with talented people, and of course, make money. There are many types of Minecraft servers, all having the potential to become very popular. Some servers with their respective genre are: Hypixel being minigames, AkumaMC being prison, and Minerival being a lifesteal smp (survival multiplayer). Don’t worry if you don’t know what some of these terms mean, as they will be covered later on in this series.
