Have you ever tried to find a word in a long document? If you are on computer it is so handy; you can type ctrl-f (or cmd-f) command in your computer (or on mobile browser) and find it in a couple of seconds. Think about you are trying to search on a book, encyclopedia (maybe find your flight code in huge panels at airport) etc. If you (like me) wish to have the opportunity to perform the ctrl-f action on real world, here comes SearchCam that uses your mobile device camera to perform “ctrl+f” action for the texts on real world objects. It searches the texts, detects, recognize the words and highlights them. You can also pick image from gallery and search on it.

Let’s have a look at to the preview;

You can try it right now, SearchCam is available on AppStore for both iPhone and iPad.

Also SearchCam was selected as #1 Product of the Day on ProductHunt. 🚀

You can visit ProductHunt page and help growing SearchCam by upvoting.

Android version will be released in future steps.

Try it now and share your feedbacks 🙌🏻

Thank you.
