My E360 Journey- Sincero Gracias!

On Friday November 1, 2019, I officially ended my full-time role as a Software Engineer and Dev. Manager at Energy360 Africa. These past two years with this team amount for the most impactful and exciting moments of my career so far. I started with the team as a Software Engineer, then along the line, I got the opportunity to lead a team of other Engineers as a Dev Manager.
Brief intro about Energy360 Africa, E360 provides independent technology solutions to the downstream oil and gas industry with solutions deployed to tank farms, fuel stations, depots, fuel sites etc. These solutions range from IoT enabled hardware, to software, to embedded devices, to web applications.
Just a few companies around here do really exciting projects, after my time at Grit Systems in 2015/2016, it’s my utmost pleasure to work with another team that combines the power of machines, internet and software to offer business intelligence and solutions to solve local problems. Over the years, several products have been developed and deployed by this great team, Fuel Station Management Applications , Analytics Applications, Remote Fuel Monitoring Applications, Fleet Fuel Management and Tracking Applications, Tank Monitoring Applications and the list goes on @ https://www.e360africa.com

I had the opportunity to work in a tech team with the best brains. Shout out to my tech fellas. To my Lead, Samuel Jenle, I say thank you for all the life lessons and technical guidance, fortunately our story has a second part. To my brothers, Ahmed, Taye, Miracle, Rahman, Taye, Nonso and Ezekiel, thank you all for the good friendship and support. I believe tech is a movement and we all own our stakes in it. To the tech Ops and support knights, Isaac and Michaella, thanks for the work you guys put into making the products useful to the customers. My special appreciation to my elder statesmen, Sir T. and Aghogho, thanks for receiving me with good hearts when I joined and friendship all through. To my fellas Gbenga, Teslim, Vanessa, Olivia, Ugo, Ebenezer, Mike, Rolake, and Busayo, I say thank you.
To my Executive Officer, Yomi Elebute, thanks for believing in me, thanks for all the resources you made available for me and the team from day one even when it was not the most convenient, thanks for being a brother to all. I have worked with a number of “Ogas” in the industry and I must say you stand out on many grounds, you have my respect always. To my Director, Dolapo Adeyeye, thanks for putting all these together, thanks for setting the vision and mission straight and keeping to it. It’s evident you have the ingredients in terms of experience and intellectual highness among other things to see this through.

Goodbyes are hard but a very necessary evil especially when there is or there may be a greater good in the picture. I am leaving the company a much better and fulfilled guy from the experience I gathered technically, the people I have been privileged to work with, the contacts I made, the nature of the projects I worked on and more importantly the problems the projects proffer solutions to and lots more. E360 I say Thank You!
