Drawn: Dark Flight is a nice change of pace
This point and click adventure is both relaxing and enchanting. It also reminds me of Michel Gondry.

Drawn: Dark Flight is an point and click (and draw!) adventure game where you solve mysteries by entering different paintings. The game is beautiful to look at, and some serious consideration went into how it flows. I was sitting at my computer feeling an almost zen-like calmness come over me as I clicked around and solves puzzles.
The story involves you helping a girl named Iris (a future queen) by bringing back hope to her people. Kind of a nice change of pace from games that tout how many new guns they have.

I had to draw a sail onto a paper cutout version of a pirate ship (reminding me of games like Drawn to Life). I talked to some Stonehenge type rock person and brought him a love letter. I made a bridge by completing a drawing of one. It was as if I was watching one of those Spike Jones music videos or a Michel Gondry movie.
Wonderous and relaxing.
I’m especially happy to see games out there like this when most games are concerned with how high your body count is. Or your .. kill .. meter. Maybe everyone who takes out a ton of Nazi’s, monsters, and gang members on a regular basis should have to play a game like this once and awhile. You know, cleanse the palette.
Drawn: Dark Flight is a nice respite from the dark doldrums of FPS kill kill, and a smart and beautiful little game in it’s own right.
