Welcome to the Week 1 of October 2023 Edition of GnoDesk.
GopherCon 2023 concluded with a resounding success. Thanks to the several-week-long sprint from core developers at Gno.land, GnoChess Beta ran flawlessly. All hands were on deck as the core team gathered in San Diego to welcome Go Developers face-to-face and spread the word on Gno.

Road to Mainnet
Gno Core
- The successful launch of GnoChess Beta at GopherCon 2023 gave a glimpse of Gno.land’s robust capabilities as a fully on-chain chess game. The GnoChess Project will be continued for a public release in the future. Stay tuned!
- Discussions have started in Public Developer Calls around the need for deeper research on Smart Contract Update Patterns and deterministic concurrency implementation for higher performance.
Ecosystem Projects
GnoMobile (Berty)
- A demo video of the GnoMobile Wallet UI was released. Discover how Berty is bringing the Gno experience to the mobile environment.
Flippando
- Flippando, the on-chain memory game, announced that its demo will be released by the end of October. Flippando is set to become the 2nd functional game built on Gno.land.
