OneCart will operate as usual during the lockdown to ensure our users still have access to safe grocery delivery.

As the situation develops, the health of our customers and staff remains our primary concern. Below are some of the things we are implementing this week and have added to our website and app, please update your app for the new features to take effect:

Stock:

· Due to the demand for certain products at this time, we are limiting orders to 30 items per order and three items per product. Certain items are also more popular than others and will be sold out faster — your shopper will keep you updated as usual.

· While shopping on OneCart, you will be notified of items in your cart that are running low and will be prompted to select a substitute. This is to make sure you get the item you need, even if it is not your first choice.

Delivery:

We have implemented a “Leave at my door” option on checkout that automatically prefills instructions for the driver drop off. We recommend you make use of this option during these challenging times; however, you can change this to whatever suits you best.

1. Drivers will call or message you when they arrive,

2. ring the bell or knock on the door, and stand back.

3. Once you answer the door and confirm your identity, your order will be placed at a safe distance.

4. The driver will then record the confirmation and d time of service in front of you on their app, so you won’t need to sign yourself.

5. The driver will depart with no direct contact.

We’re doing our best to serve the community and are scaling incrementally in order to bring you the essentials you need during this time.

When selecting a delivery slot, please treat is as only selecting a delivery day because of the delay in deliveries.

A reminder around how we are protecting our community:

We’re committed to doing it safely and have distributed disinfectant to all shoppers and drivers. We’re also sending the team gloves and masks to protect our community and stay up to date with regulation. Field teams have been informed around prevention and symptoms and know to isolate or go to the doctor when necessary.

We are assessing the unfolding situation regularly, and we will continue to keep you updated of any impact to your online orders and delivery, but for now, it’s business as usual. We’re committed to maintaining the excellent standards of service you expect. Please remember to wash your hands regularly, before and after receiving your delivery.

We appreciate your support during this time and are here for you.

Thank you
