What is your intention today?

Have you ever felt like the days just passed by and seemed that nothing has been done? It is not procrastination — you have been working and working but it doesn’t seem to go anywhere.

That happens when we do not set our intention at the beginning. Daily intention setting is an integral part of any successful routine because it allows us to weigh and analyze just where we stand on a day-to-day basis. Since it’s easy to lose sight when we are among all the millions of distractions in our lives, setting our intention allows us to stay on track and on point.

Why should we do this?

Just give yourself a little bit of time to go through your intention today. This can :

  • activate cognitive knowledge, allowing you to cope better and faster with many different life situations that may arise;
  • give you a sense of direction and focus throughtout the day so that you would not run around in circles;
  • give you a boost of energy which in turn will help you achieve even more;
  • be happier at the end of the day comfortable knowing that you have achieved your intention today (what you have done) and can go to bed with a peaceful mind.

How does it work?

Easy. When you wake up, set aside 5 minutes… in fact 1–2 minute(s) would be sufficient,to ask yourself : What is my intention today?

  • This is a wonderful day.
  • I am seeing (who) and (who) today.
  • I am doing (this) and (this) today.
  • Today I am finishing (that).
  • I am presenting well and signing my first deal today.
  • I am receiving my check today (cha-ching!).

Abraham Lincoln said “The best way to predict your future is to create it.”

I challenge you :
