This was the first approach I took in my custom iron-iconset-svg file. I had the size set to “24”…but the problem was that my SVG image was orginally saved…
width=”541px”
height=”313px”
This left me scratching my head and I eventually came across your article.
I was under the impression that setting the size=“Number” would automatically resize the SVG correctly and keep proportion (like responsive images would). Instead, I just saw a ‘top/left … 0/0’ of the view port.

Some time ago I ran across an article about creating “responsive SVG sprites”. I imagine digging into there method and adding onto what iron-iconset-svg gives us, we could probably achieve this instead of having to change up the designers and/or our workflows.
Would be a cool bonus.
