Before Your Mind Thinks Negative

Direct it to think and concentrate on what’s positive!


Thousands of thoughts crosses our mind daily. Thousands, number that sounds scarce when we talk about thoughts, make it a millions.

Good, bad and ugly and what not. Thoughts are thoughts and how they cloister and build their way into our minds, only God knows.

And it’s the quality of thoughts that defines a man. That defines the quality of life a man is leading, living, enjoying or suffering.

What kind of thoughts do you think? Are they good? Rational? Your thoughts own you, or you own them? Where do they come from? How do you deal with them? Do you just sit and let them go or do you act accordingly?

What kind of thoughts do you think when you see a poor/needy begging for food or help? Do you feel compassionate? If you do, do you offer them food, or any help?

And what when your teacher scolds you? Do you feel the fear? Or do you feel numb, helpless?

And what when you cuddle with a new-born baby? Do you feel happy? Fresh?

It’s all about thoughts, and how you react to them, that makes or breaks your life.

It’s dangerous!

Before negativity find its way in your mind, via thoughts. You better get rid of it by thinking

  • About your loved ones.
  • Good old time spend with them.
  • About how good are you at what you do.
  • A child that calls you dad.
  • About your family and friends.
  • About a good old deed, you’re part of.
  • What makes you happy.
  • Meditate!

If you’re not much of thinker, but a tinkerer. Do something about it.

  • Plan a glorious weekend, if it’s Friday!
  • Help someone, right away. Small act counts too.
  • Breathe deep.
  • Call and appreciate someone, someone’s work, any quality they possess.
  • Gratitude is the key. Oh, I love my family, my kids, my pet.
  • Please help me add some more. You’ll make me happy. I’d appreciate it.
  • Say “OUT”, right away, when negative thought try to enter your mind.
  • Surround yourself with people that you appreciate. People you love to spend time with.
  • Smile more.
  • Half smile, will do to.
  • Keep yourself busy(with work, not tangled up with thoughts)
  • Meditate.

These are few things you can think about, or do something about, when your mind finds it hard to concentrate on what’s good and nice and what creates your life, and not destroy it.
