IA#2: Reflection on “GRAFFITI”
The art being presented in the documentary is street art or what other people called, “GRAFFITI”. This kind of art is wherein people use spray paints to draw on the public walls so that people can recognize their talent or expanding the culture of art. The first man to come up with this idea was king Robbo. He started drawing on walls to catch peoples attention, some people think its great, but some people think its vandalizing. For Robbo to expand the Graffiti , he started drawing on the trains in London so that most of the people will learn of this street art.
The artist presented in this documentary is Robbo and Banksy. Robbo is the creator of Graffiti, but then suddenly he vanished. Banksy on the other side started graffiti and immediately people started to talk about it. Their Graffiti is that they want to show the world another form of art by using these graffiti. Before Robbo disappeared, he left his signature drawing on a wall. After some time another artist named Banksy reconstruct his drawing making a man posting his drawing on the wall. When Robbo found out about this he became furious and thought of it as a form of challenge. That is where their battle begins.
In relation of this story to our to the Philippine election, i could say that we should all not forget the past history or things that made out country prosper, and continue in expanding our community and for the growth of our country. i I hope that whoever wins the election won’t forget how our ancestors build out country and how they made this country as it is now.
