HISTORY OF THE FILIPINO PEOPLE

The works in the National Museum marks the life of Filipinos in the past centuries. Walking on the halls of the Museum is like walking in history and looking through the Filipino ancestor’s life. My favorite section is in Gallery VIII, the artworks transmit message and depicted their sufferings & struggles during World War II which made me realize how my life would have been if I were to live in that era. I can relate very much in that gallery because I can see the actual structure of what they painted in this present time though it might not look the same as before. My whole visit in the museum gave me a wonderful insight of the Filipino culture and the way of living in the Philippines.
