Launch On The Go Map from your home screen to use the full screen, remember your route between sessions, and load when offline

To install On The Go Map on iPhone or iPad

1. Navigate to onthegomap.com in Safari
2. Tap the “Share” button
3. Tap “Add to Home Screen”
4. Launch the app from the On The Go Map icon on your home screen

To install On The Go Map on Android

1. Go to onthegomap.com in your browser
2. Choose “Add to Home Screen” from the menu
3. Launch the app from the icon on your home screen

Installing On The Go Map App on an Android Device

When launched from the home screen, the app has its own data sandbox it uses to store the route you are working on. Unlike an app installed from the app store, you can install multiple copies of On The Go Map with different names to your home screen. Each copy has its own sandbox, so you can save a different route in each one. This is not ideal, but full support for saving routes is the next thing I plan to add.
