Everyone knows how much I love breakfasts. So much so that in each and every city I ever lived in I have a favorite delish breakfast supplier.

In Rome it has to be La Buvette, walking distance from the Spanish Steps.

What I love about it is the absolute eye for the detail, from cutlery to fine dishes they serve their delish food into, to furniture and light, and of course the coffee, which is served in pretty white cups with a tiny lid on to keep it warm and fresh. How cool is that?

La Buvette is also one of the spare places in town where you can sit for as long as you like, use wi-fi and the occasional electricity plug, while being pampered with an excellent choice of food and drinks from breakfast to aperitivo. And btw cakes and pastry is so out-of-this-world good that I dare anybody to not want to come back for more!
