Cloud of sorrow covered Nigerian minds when the news went viral that thousands of lives perished in a certain campground. The place was declared a disaster area because the news reporters worked with assumption since nobody in the general public knew what was responsible for the havoc. There were sympathetic mourners everywhere around the camp. The atmosphere got saturated with heavy noise from the mixed multitude when the place became jam-parked with people and vehicles coming like troops from every angle to witness the mayhem. Every eye saw the thousands of lives, which were consumed by the nuclear explosion and moreover, the extreme nature of the damages in the camp went a long way to show that the explosion truly came from automated missile like it was earlier reported in the news worldwide.

The mayhem attracted a great number of rescue teams, volunteers and other government agencies from far and near. They came in troops from different locations to save, but it was very difficult to find a living soul among the casualties. The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and others local TV stations made the broadcast repeatedly and hence the general public could see that the missile landed at the heart of the camp. The media said that it was an untold genocide in the federation.

According to the news, the explosion led to sudden earthquake, which forced all the surrounding structures to subside and descend like uprooted trees in the disaster area when the worshipers were dancing and praising God inside the mega-auditorium of the camp ground. The rescue teams did their best to save, but it was hard to remove the debris of walls and roofs that descended upon the congregation, altar and pulpit as a result of the explosion. It was like in the Bible when God caused the ground to open and swallow the stiff naked, mosaic congregation. The bloodshed littered the disaster area, and it was not possible to ascertain the number of lives that were covered up with the fallen roofs and broken walls.

The government agencies and rescue teams were not there when the missile exploded. They came later with a lot of safety materials, ambulances and what have you. The dead bodies were heaped up in the vehicles for mass burial, and the government agents included the press, the armed forces, and the likes. They came in great number to find out the causes of the mayhem, but nobody could tell the true story because things like disaster and uncertainty were known to take men unaware.

On the other hand, Awele, the priest of the East, was in the temple watching the further activities of the eastern wizard in the supernatural monitoring mirror, called Blackheart. He saw when Adeleke and Johnson, his brother, went to the bank, having the stolen supernatural laptop with them in the car. It was during the day, and customers were many in the bank hall. Adeleke sat down for long before it got to his turn. The Blackheart revealed how he left after the bank transaction. He came outside and saw police men standing around his car together with some other people. The look of things gave him to perceive that something was amiss, but he could not figure it out until he went close and saw Johnson lying dead in a pool of blood on the front seat of the car, which was heavily stained with the blood. He streamed out of shock and suddenly remembered how he got up the other day and saw his son, Gbenga, lying dead in like’s manner.

“Do you know him?” one of the policemen asked Adeleke.

“Yes! This is my car. He’s my younger brother,” he answered.
