Can they really?

The fear of the future has always been a fundamental trait of the human specie and the same fear resurfaces in issues like this, with the question what will the future hold for us as humans, most go on to ask will everything be automated and need for skilled workers be obsolete?

The short answer?

Yes and No.

How?

As humans we crave ease, we try our best to take the easy way out, so task that are strenuous we would love to go around them or make them less tedious, in fact we do make them less tedious. A fine example, we grow crops to feed on on a vast area of field. At first we began with hoes and basic tools, our backs hurt from doing this, so we devised machines(tractors)to aid our work, making production easier and faster.

There are various forms of these examples from loud environmental polluting cars to noiseless electric cars, from large cameras to take our pictures to cameras as small as a button with better pixel generating power, from large sized computers with little to no memory and very poor processor to light weight computers with so much memory and extraordinary processor. This is the cycle of development and innovation.

This just shows you how we like things to be, easy.

And, forecasting our future based on our history a lot of things will be automated and yes, your job would probably be done by a robot, that’s if its not already being done by one , probably on a smaller scale.

The Tesla Bot put forward by Elon Musk.

Here is the deal,

as we humans advance in Artificial Intelligence and Automated Machinery we also preserve pleasure, we do what we like to do.

There are fully automated farms from plants to produce but, majority of world farmers prefer overseeing and getting ‘dirty’. Art can be made by Artificial Intelligence but the large population of the world would rather see a painting by a 5 year old.

I would rather eat a meal cooked by Gordon Ramsay than a Meal cooked by a robot.

Why won’t you love him???

In conclusion,

In the nearest future, Artificial Intelligence will take up a great deal of structured repetitive jobs knowing this you can effectively structure your career path.
