For the first 20 seconds I kept telling myself “WHY AM I DOING THIS?!?!” but then started to breath very heavy. I kept telling myself that the shower will be over but your body will acclimate before then. Amazingly…my body did adjust to the cold and the heavy breathing did put me in some kind of euphoric state in where I felt the water but not how cold it was. What was strange was when I got out of the shower. Normally when you complete a warm/hot shower you get cold when you get out. To my surprise…I was completely fine.
I’ve been doing it on and off but I want to get to the point in where I’m doing it every time I take a bath. It’s like training my mind to overcome such a nasty obstacle. WHEW!!!!
