One of the favorite OpenBOM functions is export. OpenBOM gives you flexible, configurable export functions including selection of properties, filters, sort and order of rows.

Today, I want to show you coming export enhancements — custom logo in PDF exports. What makes this function very useful is ability to customize exports to include your company logo in export (until now, PDF export included OpenBOM logo by default.

To use new function, you need to access user profile and upload company logo. After logo is uploaded you can see custom logo displayed in all OpenBOM exports to PDF format.

The following video shows you step-by-step instruction how to make it happen.

Here is an example of BOM export in PDF format with custom logo.

Conclusion.

Custom logo in PDF exports allows you share your company identify when you send BOMs to contractors, suppliers and also export it internally in your company. One more configuration in OpenBOM to make export function even more useful. I hope you will like it and I look forward future enhancements requests.

Best, Oleg

PS. Let’s get to know each other better. If you live in the Greater Boston area, I invite you for a coffee together (coffee is on me). If not nearby, let’s have a virtual coffee session — I will figure out how to send you a real coffee.
