Unfortunately too many of them are suspicious of my intensions, or resistant because they simply don’t want to change. I know I need to convince

Ken you may be in dangerous territory here. You are making the assumption that they have a fixed mindset. Why are they suspicious of your intentions? Have you let them down in the past? and does that lead to this:

I know I need to drive this, and I know failure is not an option

That if you just try harder, land on the right words, as you say ‘drive’ that you will get a different result? If that’s the approach, it’s no wonder they are suspicious!

This is HARD WORK and there is no easy solution, and I would not assume you can do this on your own without the help of an external facilitator and/or coach. It might mean you need to change more than anyone else.

I thought of this from Robert Kegan:

Ken I think you are in the right place, and I appreciate your fully throwing yourself into this process.
