Progression on the 1st Community Meetup

Our 1st meetup in UCC, Cork, Ireland turned out to be a great success. With 199 registrations and 120 people who showed up, we got to help the small community of entrepreneurs and computer science students understand the depth of how blockchain and cryptocurrency Dash works.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, our headline speaker from Dash, Alex Werner had to drop out due to his health. We did our own presentation bringing Dash into Jake Walsh’s presentation.

Our next community meetup event will be hosted in Deloitte’s Blockchain Lab EMEA in Dublin. The topic will be “Building on the Blockchain”. We look forward to hearing how a young startup from Cork become involved in revolutionising the payments technology industry?
